If the internet changed anything, it is the role of the agent, the broker. He is losing his existence and that proces hasn't ended yet. First the tourist agencies dissappeard, then the auctions, the bookstores, financial services, and so on. Now: the media - the word says it all. Advertisers don't need publishers anymore. Content owners have direct access to their audience; they blog, post and tweet for a living. That is the new economy.
